TEMPORARY DRIVERS

Location: MAUN (X1), KASANE (X1)

Karmelia Consultancy (PTY) LTD is a leader within staffing solutions. One of our clients in the car rental industry is looking for Temporary Drivers (4 months). The candidates will be based at Maun and Kasane.

POSITION OVERALL OBJECTIVES

The purpose of the position is to support the achievement of the branch's financial and customer service targets through ensuring that every renter drives a vehicle that is clean and quality assured to our high standards and through delivery of efficient and professional customer service.


MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

  • 1–3 years relevant driving experience


MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

  • BGCSE & tertiary qualification


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • A valid class B driver's licence – must be 2 years driving experience (manual & auto)
  • Computer literate (basic level will suffice)
  • Must be fully bilingual and able to communicate with customers effectively in English
  • Ability to read maps or make use of GPS systems


IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

The appointed person may be required to work on weekends, shifts, and overtime as required.


JOB OUTPUTS

  • Cleaning of vehicle interior and exterior to high standards
  • Vehicle quality control including identification and reporting of expired licence
  • Refuelling vehicle and checking pressure and oil/water and other fluids after every rental
  • Delivering vehicles to customers in accordance with procedures
  • Delivery of branch transfers, service dues and damages to relevant suppliers
  • Provide excellent customer service, effectively assisting customers
  • Responsible for the security and quality control of vehicles and other company properties
  • Handling vehicle checks in accordance with company, quality control and claim procedures
